Sherri Gragg is a freelance writer and mother of five who enjoys juggling words when she is not juggling kids. Her pen finds its way to variety of subjects, including black hair care, adoption, scriptural meditations and racial issues.
This blog touches on all of those areas and if you dig deep enough you will find a story at its root. It is a story that is sometimes joyful, sometimes sorrowful. A true tale that although not always picture perfect, infinitely beautiful. It is the story of how God took strands of loss, longing, hope and love and wove them into a family.
A family that was worth the wait. A home where thankfulness and joy now reign.
After all, it is the impenetrable darkness of midnight that inspires us to cherish the dawn………..

Sherri-
I would really love to email you. I have curiosity questions. MORE than that though, I wanted to tell you that I read all of March and April’s posts … your adoption story. I loved it. So much of what you said just gripped my heart, the truth of the test of adoption and the faith required to get through it and how big God is … and on an on. I don’t get enough time to read and tonight I took a couple of hours and read your blog. It is beautifully written and wonderfully honest.
I searched for an email address but don’t see one. If you’re open to some Haiti questions, adoption questions … please let me know. TL7inhaiti@yahoo.com -Tara
